  package grub-pc 1.98-1ubuntu6 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess
  installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

  I am running windows vista 32-bit
  I installed Ubuntu using wubi so that I could duel-boot vista and Ubuntu
  The error occurred during the first time I tried to update my client
  The error seems to be a failure to install GRUB
  Afterwards I tried to go to recovery mode and then repair packages and update GRUB
  I am unsure if it fixed whatever problem was caused

  
  1)I am using the latest version of Ubuntu as of Fri June 18 5:19 PM, which is Ubuntu 10.04 LTS  - the Lucid Lynx

  2) not sure, just installed Ubuntu for the first time today

  3) I expected the updates to work and for them to be installed.

  4) GRUB seems to have failed to install
