Title:
When pipewalker is launched the entire system freezes with a corrupt
display.
Status in “libdrm” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: pipewalker
When pipewalker is launched the display becomes corrupt immediately
and for a second a buzzing sound comes from the speakers. At that
point the sysetm is completely frozen. Will not respond to keyboard
or mouse input. Cannot switch to virtual terminals. I launched
pipewalker from another PC via ssh and got the following error before
the ssh session became unresponsive:
../../intel/intel_bufmgr_gem.c:1061: Error writing data to buffer 1:
(0 16392) Invalid argument .
I have had to shut the system down by holding the power button each
time this happens.
