HI Jarlath, thanks for your report and sorry for the trouble you are
having. We will try to sort this for you as quickly as we can. First, I
wonder if you wouldn't mind trying the download one more time today as I
suspect there might have been some intermittent server-side connectivity
problems over the past couple of days.

Please let us know if the download still does not complete. And if that
does happen, it would be very helpful if you could attach your software-
center.log file to this bug. This file is located here:

  ~/.cache/software-center/software-center.log

  I've tried a few times for a successful download but it always fails.
  It had been downloading about 500mb of the ~650mb, but now it fails
  instantly on 0MB
