[Bug 802779] [NEW] Installer crashed installing on MS Virtual PC 2007

Public bug reported:

Hello. I tried to install Ubuntu 11.4 on a virtual machine running on MS
Virtual PC 2007. The error occured during the "Removing extra packages"
At least this is what was written in the installer. Unfortunately I
cannot attach the requested files, as I don't have access to the VM.
