Hey, I think I found a walkaround...Remembering suse install, it installed grub2 on the /boot partition boot record, rather than on the master boot record, so I decided to try it also on ubuntu x64 and finally could install it without any errors...:D
Additional info:
- The master boot record is a regular msdos one, rather than a grub one used as proposed by ubuntu installer.
- I disconnected from the internet to do a faster setup (and to have the chance to select the faster repository for not to be half day downloading packages using less than a half of my bandwidth).
Nothing else different I may remember...Any question just ask...;)

Title:
  Setup of Ubuntu 11.04 fails

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

During setup,at one of the latest stages,it displays a messagebox telling that the installer has failed. I attached one of the files it asked me to submit. The other,I'll try to submit later because I don't see the option to submit another one.
This error actually happens to me for the second time. I didn't pay too much attention to it because when I restart the pc and boot ubuntu,I fund that the system actually works perfectly. So much that I used ubuntu as my unique os. No dual boot. No other 2nd os in any other disk. Right now, I'm downloading the updates for ubuntu.
The first time,I installed it from a pendrive. This time,I did it from a DVD.
  Some info about my system:
  - Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L mobo
  - Intel E7300 processor
  - 3GB of ram
  - GPT hard disk set up as:
      - /dev/sda1 of 200MiB mounted at /boot
      - /dev/sda2 of 25GiB mounted at /
      - 5 more partitions for random data, without fixed mount point.
  - Nvidia 8500GT videocard

PS: sorry for any typo mistake. I'm argentinian.
