  unresolveable problem when trying to update ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04?

Bug description:
  i dont know what haaped from last two days, m trying to upgrade my
  ubuntu 10.10(currentlt running on my pc) to 11.04, but it gives me
  following error"An error occurred, please run package manager from the
  right click menu or apt-get in a terminal to see what is wrong, "the
  error message was:'Error:Marking the upgrade(E:Error,
  pkgProblemReslver:Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held
  packages.)'This usually means that your installed packages have unmet
  dependencies.

  please help, me to resolve this, i m trying from last two days, and i get confused.
