I am attaching the file from /var/lib/apt/list  archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_natty-updates_main_i18n.
I had already tried deleting this file manually and rerunning the sudo apt-get update command. But it failed.

  Cannot update or install packages

Status in “apt” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I am using ubuntu 11.04 and I am unable to install packages from the
  universe multiverse main extras. I have enabled these repositories but
  while reloading package information it is telling a Hashsum mismatch.
  I tried changing the download server, using command line apt-get
  update apt-getclean etc but it didnt solve the issue
