it just means that with fglrx installed you get no kernel modesetting
(KMS) goodness. Not much we can do about it though.

** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => fglrx-installer (Ubuntu)

** Changed in: fglrx-installer (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Confirmed

Title:
  Boot screen resolution changes after graphic update

Status in “fglrx-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xorg

  The resolution of the boot screen is changed and sometimes it doesn't appear at all; but instead lines of codes appear.
