Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
9.10 downloaded but locked computer during install. Subsequently, when
I ran 9.04 the computer would shut down after 3 minutes or so ..... I'd
restart and it would again shut down after about 3 minutes. I turned
off the computer and the next day started 9.04 ..... this time the
computer stayed on but when I tried to check for updates I got the
above-noted error message.
I'm not a programmer and not technically savvy re. Linux .... I was so
fed up with Microsoft that I loaded Ubuntu .... very pleased for the
past 6 months without any problems until now ..... any help would be
appreciated.
** Affects: apt (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
