Not a db4.6 problem..., this starts with:
Preconfiguring packages ...
(Reading database ... 
(Reading database ... dpkg: error processing findutils (--configure):
 package findutils is already installed and configured
Errors were encountered while processing:
 findutils

But it looks like corrupted dpkg database or failed lock or something
like that.
