Bug description:
  Binary package hint: man-db

  I'm trying to install Ubuntu 10.10 for the first time as a dual-boot along-side XP home on my C: drive
  it's an Acer machine that has a hidden recovery partition at the beginning of the 120 MB drive
  the drive was split into 3 partitions before I started:
  sda1 = recovery (fat 32) = 5.3GB
  sda2 = XP Home (fat 32) =57.3GB
  sda3 = separate storage partition (ntfs) = 37.8

  I was attempting to use the free space I allocated 18 GB for Ubuntu
  I have a 1GB usb drive formatted and written twice now with the .iso image
  all was going well up until halfway through copying the files to the drive before it gave me this error that the 'disk' was dirty

  is there anyway to complete the install from within Ubuntu by dragging
  & dropping the remaining files...or perhaps an Ubuntu repair function
  that would take the .iso files & heal itself?
