Title:
Click in terminal area resets location for text

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

Upgrading Kubuntu 8.10 to 9.04 (during beta freeze).

I selected text in the 'terminal' area to copy/paste for bug reporting
and from that point on, new text started from where I had selected
text. Just clicking in the window doesn't seem to be enough to cause
  it.
