[Bug 886518] [NEW] Installation failed because it could not find the Mirrorserver

Public bug reported:

I was trying to install Ubuntu 11.10 (it actually says 12.04 LTS / dont
understand why) I got to about 15% of the system install when it was
trying to reach the mirrorserver, (I am connected to internet with
Ethernet cable) and it crashed. Tried it again with the same result.
Uploaded a bug report from ubuntu.
