Hello,
it seems as if your issue may be being caused by a failing hard
drive/SATA controller, could you please check the S.M.A.R.T. data for
the drive you are attempting to install to and see whether it passes the
self-tests or not? You can do this through Disk Utility (palimpsest) on
the LiveCD/USB.
