Public bug reported:
Back in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, libreiser4-dev gained an Ubuntu delta by being
made to depend on (a matching build-dependency of) libreadline-dev
instead of libreadline5-dev. Now, Debian squeeze/sid and Ubuntu
11.10/12.04 LTS all no longer ship libreadline5-dev, so libreiser4-dev's
delta of depending on libreadline-dev introduces an inconsistency that
makes its reverse-build-deps FTBFS (e.g., partclone), not to mention a
license incompatibility. This issue was addressed for Debian in BTS
#634654.
Please review this request (I'm not online consistently) and proceed if
appropriate.
** Affects: reiser4progs (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
