Thanks Brian, I had no time to update this report. You hit the
problem... I had this doubt and tried in the nieght a new installation
using the dvd writer (5 years old) instead of dvd rom (8 years old!)...
at the morning I found that installation was succefully done!
Unfortunately the PC is still very, very, very slow... not usable. The
PC has only 512 RAM, but it should be enought... I found something about
driver of video card (ATI) and I will try to solve in the next days: my
children love Edubuntu, my daugter wants it on her new netbook, instead
of Win7! I will convert all PC in my home... Thanks again, I will try to
solve my problems in the italian community... easier for me!
