[Bug 891457] [NEW] Installer crashed on initial installation on Windows XP

Public bug reported:

Tried to install Linux mint 11 several times from a CD which I downloaded from a North America Mirror site, CD made with Infrarecorder. After about 10-15 seconds of installation, the "Installer crashed" screen appears.  I can't seem to find the syslog and partman files.
Traceback:

Type error:Gtk.lbel.set_label() argument 1 mist be string, not None
