Bug description:
  For several days update manager has notified of existing updates. After downloading /installing some of the updates (lynx) repeatedly error messages (files not installed, segmentation failure, etc.) leave the same files undone-
  in the details the last failure note says:
  linux-image-2.6.32-35-generic
  linux-image-generic
  linux-generic

  Tried to cut/paste the entire note but no joy. Sorry.

  Is this a problem unique to my laptop (toshiba satellite m55?, has
  been running ubuntu 8-9-and now 10.04 w/o problems) or is this an
  error inherent in the update?
