Thanks for your bug report. As this concerns a problem installing Ubuntu, I believe it should be packaged against ubiquity. You can go ahead and ignore Brad's automated comment, since that would collect information intended for debugging a kernel issue. For debugging this type of problem, though, we need the installer's log files. Instructions for finding and attaching those logs can be found here:
