Title:
  /etc/cron.d/anacron produces unnecessary output

Status in “anacron” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: anacron

  /etc/cron.d/anacron  runs "start -q anacron || :"
  If anacron is already running this creates the output: "start: Job is already running: anacron"
  This is nagging and confusing.
  A job which is already running should stay quiet about a restart request if not explicitly given an option to report information messages.
  This applies especially to jobs run by cron as all output from cron gets mailed to the administrator.
