The problem is in new compiz. When i downgrade compiz on my 11.04 from
ppa, gvim starts to work fine.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: vim-gnome

  On up-to-date Jaunty, when resizing windows in vim-gnome, it sometimes
  doesn't draw the new page completely. Attaching a screenshot to
  demonstrate how it looks. I think the problem also exhibits when
  scrolling a page down or up.
