I just experienced this with Natty trying to create an Oneiric installer
on a USB stick. To my technical eye "erase disk" means "erase this
partition", i.e. the partition that it's presented to me, in my case
/dev/sdd1. I did not expect it to erase /dev/sdd!

Bug description:
Binary package hint: usb-creator
in usbcreator (i guess the gtk version) i sleceted one partition, but
got _all_ my disk formatted.
Trashing data is a very bad bug !
