Bug description:
  Maverick's installer doesn't any provide progress feedback (other than
  the spinning 'busy' cursor) for a partition resize operation when in
  "manual partitioning". This can be confusing as resize operations can
  take quite some time and the user may not think that anything is
  actually happening.
