Public bug reported:
Kubuntu, 11.10 beta 2, amd64 (CD: kubuntu-11.10-beta2-alternate-
amd64.iso)
Disk: RAID 10 set controlled by the Intel PCH. Existing Linux
installation from which the partition tool correctly picks up partition
table.
Takes commands (set partition type/mount point etc) but fails to modify
and therefore is stalled.
The description of the disk is
"RAIDmd126 device #:RAIDactive device #(read-only)RAID10 device .."
followed by incomplete list of sda/b/c/d
The #(read-only) looks ominous to me...
The Linux install I use at the moment uses DM (not MD), so I tried
rd_NO_MDIMSM and rd.md.imsm=0 options inspired by advice already
received with other distributions.
Best Regards
Jens
** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
