Could you please run a tool like "top" or "htop" while s-c is loaded and
check if it keeps using cpu time while its idle? On my oneiric system I
don't see these CPU spikes.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center
When using Software Centre, it creates a heavier load on the CPU,
causing my temps to skyrocket from 60 degrees Celsius to at least 90.
This occurs when using the Software Centre, even when not isntalling
or downloading, but is worse when downloading/installing.
