Title:
After installing 11.10 next to 11.04, 11.04 is no longer bootable

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I installed 11.10 beta in a separate partition. My other partitions contain 11.04 and /home.
Now if I choose my original 11.04 OS from Grub, it hangs with just a blank screen with solid cursor, no disk use, and locked keyboard.

I can boot into 11.10, but there are lots of problems with it and I need to use 11.04, so this is debilitating.
In any case, I am not really sure how to help debug it. Are there booting logs or something I should attach?
