  natty restart after install, no graphics screen

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  after installation of daily-live amd64 distro.  select restart button and system shutsdown and should display a full
  dark screen with 'star trek' dot movement in center of screen and then a message to hit enter when ready to
  restart the system.  

  the dots image appears and the message appears but rest of screen has
  tty messages from the shutdown procedures.
