Title:
windows partition mounted in /windows not /media/windows
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired
Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity
I installed a clean Lucid, formatting my previous Karmic partition
during the install. I have a windows XP partition and this was
detected by the installer. After reboot the partition was mounted on
/windows, as it had been previously. The canonical place to mount
windows partitions, is /media/windows according to
  https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Fstab . Other applications are
relying on this being the setup - for example, see bug #490230.
