I don't have a problem with the dialogue but the bootloader install
fails with 'fatal error'. This occurs if I chose any of the
/dev/mapper/via<hash> devices. I use a VIA BIOS RAID, 2 disks striped.

Title:
When grub can't install on partition/device at end of installer, the
dialog fails to respond to any click
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I could confirm this behavior at two separate installs.
I start installing using the 11.04 installer, choose device etc. and
go through the whole install process, which works fine (partitioning,
formatting, copying, creating users etc.)
At the very last step, a dialog pops up telling me that e.g. /dev/sda
cannot be written to (which is correct, since I have a BIOS-RAID
installed, correctly detected to be at /dev/mapper/somehashcode-of-my-
raid).
The problem here is, that I can choose any other device to install the bootloader to from the dropdown box shown, but neither cancel nor OK buttons work, regardsless of the option chosen (1. write to specified disk, 2. don't install bootloader, 3. abort).
The close "x" window icon doesn't work either.
Additonally there is no "restart" option in the shutdown menu at that
time, which leaves me hard-booting the system.
