[Bug 874646] [NEW] Upgrade to 11.10 says I cannot proceed

Public bug reported:

I am told:
---------
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade:
E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.

 This can be caused by:
 * Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
 * Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
 * Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu
---------
I happened to successfully upgrade to 11.04 release a few days ago, does this mean I have inadvertently put myself in scenario 1 or 2 ? And sure I probably have some other non Ubuntu-provided software.

Is a more detailed error report available somewhere, then I could try to
eliminate the cause?
