Public bug reported:

I have seven partitions on a HD.
- One of those is my everyday-working-linux-distro (an Ubuntu based derivative)
- one is my /home partition shared between several Linux systems on this computer
- another is primary partition with PC-BSD installed (based on FreeBSD with FreeBSD filesystem on it). Ubuntu system is unable to mount this partition.
- I have also a few partitions for experimenting.

I have tried to install Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) to one of testing
partitions - /dev/sda7.

Everything went well, but before the installer could finish I got an
error "an error occurred when migrating data from other systems". I was
informed that the installer will continue, and it did continue, but it
failed to install boot loader to partition with the distro - /dev/sda7 .
I use Smart Boot Manager to switch between operating system installed
on this system.

I wish that there was a switch or an option when starting installer
where I could choose "do NOT try to migrate data from other systems".
Such an option would be nice also in other usecases.

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
