Title:
Add custom 3:rd party repository from insiode Synaptic issue

Status in “software-properties” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
If you start the dialog to add a 3rd party repository from inside
Synaptic there is a strange cut'n'paste issue.

It seems like you MUST copy the string to paste in as the "DEB-row"
after you started the dialog or it won't be possible to past it.

  You must do:

  - Start the add repo dialog
  - Copy the URL
  - Paste it

  Not:

  - Copy the URL
  - Start the add repo dialog
  - Paste the URL

I think the latest is the most used: "Oh, I should add this repo".
And it wont work! Very annoying.
