Thanks for your report.
You are not using the official release CD of Xubuntu. Your image
contains Ubiquity 2.8.2 while the release image includes ubiquity 2.8.7.
Please get an official CD from http://xubuntu.org/get#oneiric
I'm closing this report but don't hesitate to reopen if it's still an
issue with the latest ISO

Title:
Xubuntu 11.10 installation aborts with the official ISO CD
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Xubuntu 11.10 installation aborts anormally after a while, I think it's just after saving data on the hard drive.
My CD checksum is good, I tried to install Xubuntu 11.04 and I have exactly the same error.
Both Ubuntu and Kubuntu installations are OK.
