that is interesting. There might be something wrong with upgrade path
calculation in your case. Could you attach the files requested above or
do you'd rather close this report ?

error upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10.
i don't know why even if i have a few softwares installed thru ppa, i don't see what should be blocking has external ppa are disabled for the update.
