Title:
  pcscd deamon deadlock

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Working setup: Kubuntu 10.04.3 LTS
  Buggy setup: Kubuntu oneiric 11.04

  Description:
After some APDU exchanged with a smartcard using TA=96 (115200 kbit/s) the pcscd deamon is stalled and the result of the APDU is never returned but the smartcard has finished processing of the APDU.

APDU failing is always an APDU with wait extension, and I observed the
pcscd is stalled in a libusb call.

I suspect a modification in another package such as udev because even
when installing another version of pcscd/libccid/libpcsclite1 packages
the pcscd is still stalled after few apdus.

I also tried the working setup (kubuntu 10.04.3) under virtual box
within the buggy setup host. and the bug is not present within the
  guest system this way.
