When booting Ubuntu it is now possible to choose Try Ubuntu or Install
Ubuntu and the Install choice runs only ubiquity, the installer, so I am
setting this bug to Fix Released.
** Changed in: casper (Ubuntu)
Status: Confirmed => Fix Released

Title:
[gutsy tribe-5] unnecessary init items?
Status in “casper” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: base-installer
Upon installation, I noticed that several daemons are being loaded
that are not relevant for an install. For example, cups.
Maybe another option "Live CD" would be beneficial in grub to separate
the install process from a Live CD environment.
