Title:
ubuntu karmic alpha 4 wireless keyboard not recognised on grub menu
and PC waits indefinitely for menu choice

Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Running Kubuntu Alpha4 i386, I updated packages last night, and a new
kernel was installed. The Keyboard is a Logitech Deluxe 650 Cordless
Desktop - it works fine in the BIOS, and there is also a Bluetooth
keyboard (Logitech DeNovo Mini) attached. Neither of them would allow
use of the cursor keys or Enter key, and Grub was waiting for input
which I could not provide - ie, it had set its timeout to -1.

When I plugged in a PS/2 keyboard and rebooted, it worked fine. Once X
started, the Logitech keyboards & mice worked perfectly.

  Gigabyte G43 Motherboard, E5200 CPU, 2GB DDR2-800 RAM
