There is no such release as Ubuntu 9.1.
There is Ubuntu 9.04, 9.10, 10.04, 10.10, 11.04, 11.10.

What command did you use to execute Wanda?

Wanda is a applet not a application.

  Binary package hint: software-center

  I am a Ubuntu "newbie" who just installed 9.1 from CD. The install
  seemed to end normally but the cmd to execute Wanda the fish cannot be
  located even tho the icon is present. Plz advise. Thanx.
