  Kubuntu 11.04 fails to install

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I was running Mandriva 2010.2 and switched to kubuntu.  I was using my
  previous partitions and mountpoints.  After formatting / and /usr the
  installation process gets about halfway complete and then fail.  I
  have tried 3 times.  There are no apparent problems with the
  installation DVD (x86-64).
