So I've gone for the 'US$ 39.99' variation as the 'US$39.99' looked a
bit dense. If you would like a different variation just let me know.

Title:
[GTK3] Currency isn't shown for prices in home screen tiles

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  software-center-gtk3 trunk r2205, Ubuntu Ocelot

  1. Look at the price for a commercial "What's New" item on the home
  screen.

  What you see: "1.00"
What you should see: "US$1.00" or "£0.61" or something

(Because no commercial applications have yet been published to Ocelot,
currently this bug is visible only if you are a member of the purchase
  QA team.)
