Hi Laudeci! Although the symptoms are different, both the applications
lens and the system menu launch software-center in the same way. We can
fix this within the software-center codebase (as Gary has already
done!), so this means that we can fix both these issues by the same
change in our code - this is the reason that I marked this bug a
duplicate of the other despite the bugs having different symptoms.

  Confirmed

Bug description:
  When clicking the webcam system menu it brings Software Center to
  install an application to handle webcam but the it shows the old
  layout, very different when you call Software Center from the dash or
  launcher.
