Can you please try booting from the CD and installing Ubuntu again, and
then seeing if the error reoccurs? It seems like the installation did
fail as it did not remove unnecessary packages at the end of the
process.

If the issue occurs again can you please attach the files at
/var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to this bug report (from the live
session)?

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  No se concreto la instalacion correctamente ya que manda un mensaje de error que dice visitar esta pagina, para enviar el error; https:launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+filebug 
  y dirigirse al archivo
  /var/log/syslog/var/log/partman
  El OS pareciera estar instalado correctamente pero aparece la opcion (1° opcion) en el lanzador de aplicaciones Instalador RELEASE, osea disparar la instalacion de nuevo, osea otra vez el mismo ciclo y si se vuelve a efectuar la instalacion tiene el mismo problema citado anteriormente, gracias por la aclaracion que me puedan brindar.
