Hi there,

I had just loaded Ubuntu and was looking at IDE's when it crash.

Also (don't know if I add this here) I downloaded Ubuntu via 'burn to
CD' the program failed to boot from CD and I had to install the autorun
installer program.

I am new to this OS as I am wanting to teach myself programming.
