For some reason my computer goes into a update panic half way through
checking its update im trying to update my distro to 11.10

the error says
Failed to download repository information

Check your Internet connection.

Please help im confused as to why this did not work also...unrelated note expose.plug-in and compiz cube do not work i activeded them separately and neither keyboard commands work
