I can confirm that clicking "Get Software" returns you to the main
lobby.  However, as this bug indicates,  this behaviour could be made
more obvious...

Bug description:
  The new Ubuntu Software Center have a very wonderful improve, But when
  I did install some package, then when wanna return to the first page
  (home) then have to Click a very lot time the left arrow button until
  finally are in it.,

  I suggest to developers Add a Home Icon to go to the HOME.
