[Bug 848481] [NEW] installer crash Ubuntu 11.04 64-bit under Virtual Box

Public bug reported:

I was installing under Virtual Box 4.1.2 using a Windows 7 host.

The virtual drive was 10 GB.

The installation ran without a problem and then reported "Installer
crashed."

I don't know how to extrace the /var/log files from the virtual machine
as it is not operable.
