cdebootstrap in Debian Sid doesn't support oneiric yet either.

I just fixed the xen-tools part of the issue upstream in xen-tools:

I'll very likely release xen-tools 4.2.2 as soon as either debootstrap
or cdebootstrap support oneiric, too, i.e. as soon as I can test it. :-)

Bug description:
  the symlink in /usr/lib/xen-tools/oneiric.d to /usr/lib/xen-
  tools/karmic.d is missing. There is also a link in debootstrap missing
  to install oneiric with xen-tools.

  This problem happens with default oneiric installation as Dom0.
