Public bug reported:

After having compiz fail an uninstall and install caused an ICEauthority
error, i try to downgrade to 11.04 from a bootable disc after my OS was
completely erased. Will not downgrade to 11.04 through any means, fails
on the install with either copying files or replacing the 11.10 beta.

         Status: New
