Title:
update-manager crashed with TypeError in confirmChanges():
glib.markup_escape_text() takes at most 1 argument (2 given)

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
After upgrading and restarting the OS I clicked the little envelope in
the upper right corner and selected Chat. Then this message appeared
(might be unrelated, before the upgrade I encountered the same error
while running the software update). The Chat window did not appear
(happens a lot) but the status changed to 'Available'.
