[Bug 624317] Re: Alert sound plays when expanding/collapsing navigation pane items with keyboard

This was fixed, in a particularly heavyhanded way, by abolishing the
navigation pane altogether. The demons causing this bug escaped into bug
846138, but now seem to be vanquished.

  1. Click on "Get Software" in the navigation pane.
  2. Press Right to expand the branch or Left to Collapse it.

  What happens: The branch expands or collapses, and the alert sound plays.
  What should happen: The branch expands or collapses, and the alert sound doesn't play.
